These trophies serve as milestones‚ encouraging exploration and ensuring you experience the game’s diverse environments and mechanics. In the game, you control your little character as he jumps, dodges and explores his way around the levels. Unlike other platform games, this has a trick up its sleeve in the form of the DualSense controller’s ability to let you feel your way around levels. This is a game many people might look past in their excitement to play one of the AAA launch titles for the PlayStation 5, but that would be a mistake. Astro’s Playroom is utterly charming, surprisingly deep and shows, more than many other titles, some of what makes the PS5 unique.

From the start, climb the first ledge, and instead of progressing on the critical path to the wall ahead, go through the grass on the left, and you’ll find a Bloodborne bot. See in action a level of Astro’s Playroom, the platformer that comes free with your PlayStation 5 and shows off the cool new features of the DuelSense controller. It is worth noting that the game is maintained in a very colorful artistic style, which may appeal to both older and younger players. I can’t say I had very high expectations for Astro’s Playroom, a game that comes free with every PlayStation 5 console. I figured it might be a cute series of minigames, akin to the robot-themed minigames in the PlayStation 4’s pack-in title, The Playroom.

This references Everybody’s Golf VR by Clap Hanz, released in 2019.
The Bot with the staff is the Maiden in Black, a demon who uses souls collected by the player character to help them level up in the Nexus. Demon’s Souls got a PS5 remake in 2020 for the launch of the console. Coin collection in Astro Playroom is straightforward but requires attention to detail.
