You become entranced with all the functions, but it doesn’t stop there. So many little details throughout Astro’s Playroom make the DualSense exciting. On the first level, you’re going along a beach and can feel the steps you make in the sand.

These four bots are completely optional, so if you don’t have the time (or the storage space to redownload Astro’s Playroom), know that they won’t give you much of an advantage in Astro Bot. And yet, even when Astro is pulling off his most basic moves in familiar environments, this game feels revelatory. The PS5’s new controller combines a built-in speaker with vibrating haptics to make interacting with the world feel like it’s literally happening in your hand.
It perfectly showcases the capabilities of the device in fun and engaging ways. From the moment you boot up the demo, the game takes you through the DualSense. It takes you through the vibration, adaptive triggers, touchpad, motion sensor and microphone. Toro the cat filled the role to a degree in Japan but he never fronted any major games and has since faded from the limelight. The game also has one of the easiest platinum trophies on PS5, so completing all levels can be quite rewarding as well. To unlock the ability to find and collect all the Special Bots in Astro’s Playroom, you must have reached and completed the 1994 Throwback stage. This is the final stage and section of the game, so you must complete the game’s main objective so that these special bots will be available to collect.

Artifact 1/2 “PS2 Multitap” – Shortly after that puzzle piece there will be an area you can go into on the left behind some purple vines. Light the fuse at the bottom with your ship thrusters to reveal this artifact. Puzzle Piece 3/4 – In the section after the falling circular wall pieces, you need to use the bar to jump up and over the wall to the right to reach this puzzle piece.
